Teaming Up for Excellence: Experience the Best in Travel with Cebu Pacific and Europcar
Whether by air or by land, everyone can start looking forward to a journey that is virtually
worry-free as the country's pioneering domestic airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) teams up with
leading European car rental firm Europcar.
Voted "The Best" in eight categories during the World Travel Awards 2006, Europcar will now be
CEB's official in-land transport service for self and chauffeur-driven vehicles for its domestic
and regional destinations.
"Cebu Pacific and Europcar share the same commitment to mobility and excellence. That is why
we are very happy with this partnership. We know that this is another good way for us to show
our passengers that we are dedicated to giving them the best in value-for-money service," says
CEB VP for Marketing and Product Candice Iyog.
For a smooth and relaxing travel experience, passengers can avail of Europcar's transport
services through CEB's website, customer service and reservations hotline, travel agents,
and walk-up booths at the airport. CEB flyers will also get a special discounted rate once
they present their boarding passes at the Europcar booth.
Joint services of this new partnership will be available in Manila and Cebu's domestic and
international airports and will be offered in Davao, Iloilo, Cagayan, and Bacolod in the
next quarter.
As part of Europcar's service solutions in the reservations process, it will also develop
a website which will offer complete online booking for both CEB and Europcar.
Stressing importance on each customer's personal needs and priorities, CEB and Europcar
give a high standard of quality service to travelers worldwide. As proof of this, Europcar
has been "Europe's Leading Car Hire Company" for the last four years and the "World's Leading
Leisure Car Rental Company" for the last three. It is represented in 170 countries with an
average fleet of more than 220,000.
Cebu Pacific, on the other hand, ensures a comfortable flying experience starting with its
convenient online booking procedure through http://www.cebupacificair.com/. Aside from this, Cebu
Pacific operates an all-Airbus fleet for local and international routes, making it the
youngest in the Philippines and one of the youngest in Asia.
Currently, the airline has the most number of domestic destinations, the most number of
inter-island connections, and the highest number of flight frequencies to major cities like
Cebu and Davao. CEB continues to expand with its new domestic routes in Dipolog, Laoag,
General Santos, Legaspi, and its international destinations Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur,
Jakarta, Hong Kong, Incheon, Pusan and very soon Taipei.
